At StorytimeHero.ai, every book we create is made to order—crafted uniquely for you and your loved ones using your photos, story details, and preferences. Because each book is custom-made, our goal is to help you feel confident before your order goes to print.
We use previews and quality checks before printing.
1. Our Promise
We want every customer to be delighted with their StorytimeHero book.
If something is not right with your draft or final printed book, we will review the issue and help with the right next step, from edits before print to a replacement or refund when appropriate.
2. Before Printing (Draft Stage)
For direct orders, you will receive a digital cover preview before the book goes to print.
During this stage, you can:
- Review your cover preview and key personalization details
- Request reasonable changes before print production begins
- Cancel your order under this policy if the preview is not a fit
We send approved orders to print only after the preview and review steps are complete.
3. After Printing (Physical Book)
Because every hardcover is made-to-order and personalized, we are unable to accept returns once a book has been printed and shipped, unless there is an issue with quality, damage, or printing error.
If your book arrives with any of the following issues, please contact us within 14 days of delivery:
- Printing defects (blurred, cropped, or incorrect pages)
- Damaged or missing pages
- Binding or cover issues
- Shipping damage
We will replace the book at no cost.
4. Photo & Personalization Errors
We encourage all customers to review their draft carefully before approval.
Because our books are personalized, we cannot refund or reprint orders due to:
- Spelling errors, typos, or incorrect personalization approved in the final draft
- Poor-quality or low-resolution photos provided by the customer
- Changes of heart after approval or delivery
However, if we made an error on our side (e.g., wrong photo, story mismatch, or missing personalization), we will immediately correct and reprint your book free of charge.
5. Lost, Delayed, or Returned Shipments
If your package does not arrive within the expected time frame:
- Please contact our support team and we will track it with the carrier
- If the package is lost in transit, we will replace or refund it in full
- If it is returned to us due to an incorrect shipping address or non-delivery, we can reship it once the correct address is confirmed (additional shipping fees may apply)
6. Refund Processing
Once a refund is approved, it will be processed back to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
We will notify you by email once the refund has been issued.
7. Digital Products & Previews
If you have purchased or received a digital version of your book or preview file, refunds are available only if the file cannot be accessed or if a technical error prevents you from viewing it properly.

We call it the Magic Moment Promise — if the preview or finished book misses the mark, contact us and we will review the issue with care.
That might mean edits before print, a replacement for a production issue, or a refund when appropriate under this policy.
